The KennaConnect contract is part of a $188,000 grant package, with about $113,000 allocated to the watershed management plan and approximately $75,000 as matching funds, according to materials presented to the court.
During the reading of Resolution 25-14, the reader summarized that County Road 1363 is 0.556 miles and County Road 1324 is 1.948 miles; the resolution states there are no residences on County Road 1363 so the consolidation will not change resident addresses. Commissioners moved and seconded both the KennaConnect contract and the road-consolidation resolution; both measures passed on recorded roll call votes.
County staff said the watershed plan and the road inventory update will be incorporated into project files; a commissioner thanked grant partners for their assistance in assembling the funding package.
