Committee members said the Union School first‑floor work will update every classroom and that Lincoln School will also have classroom work as part of this phase.
Board members discussed cooperative purchasing and bid‑threshold rules, noting that purchases sourced through cooperative contracts exceeding the local bid threshold ($44,000) should be acknowledged by board resolution even when the items are purchased through an existing cooperative or state contract. The motions were moved and approved by roll call.
The board's actions fund the next phase of HVAC/Univent replacements in the district's multi‑year facilities plan and authorize the paving work to proceed under the cooperative contract provisions approved by the board.
