The modules are custom-made and imported; staff added a contingency for shipping and import fees.
Councilor Ortega moved to approve the proposal and the council adopted the motion by roll call. The purchase amount read into the record was $942,438, exclusive of New Mexico gross receipts tax, under sole-source procurement number 30M009323CP233.
Staff noted the delivery lead time is several months and installation will be a multi-month project; the purchase uses the existing sole-source authorization.
