County staff read bid results into the record for three public‑works projects and the Board took the bids under advisement for later award decisions. For the Nisbett Road small‑structure replacement (VC‑24‑12‑01) six bids were opened; the amounts read into the record included Blankenberger Brothers Inc. at $195,374 and Bridal Inc. at $256,440, among others.
For the Radio Avenue small‑structure replacement (VC‑24‑12‑02) five bids were read; Bridal Inc. submitted a bid of $219,219 and Blankenberger Brothers Inc. bid $225,600. For the Northwoods/North Elm/West Franklin drainage improvements there were five bids, with amounts such as Regal Inc. at $433,604 and Koberstein Contracting, Inc. at $342,151.
After the bids were read, a motion was made and seconded to "take under advisement" the open bids for all three projects by project; commissioners approved that motion. No awards were made at the meeting; staff will proceed with evaluation and return with recommendations at a later date.
