Evansville approves small change order, ADA ramp and neighborhood patching; takes pavement bid under advisement

The board approved a contract with Rivertowne Construction LLC for 2024 ADA curb-ramp improvements (total $168,891.90), primarily along Fulton Avenue. Engineers said the work could extend into the next year depending on weather.
For neighborhood milling and patching (Project No. 24-018), the board approved a $82,686.25 contract with Jerry David Enterprises Inc. as a pilot for spot repairs (milling 10-by-25-foot patches and sealing joints) rather than full overlays.
On pavement preservation (Project 24-0242024), counsel read a single bid from Reju Tech (base bid $689,728.08 with alternates totaling $12,892.80). The board voted to take the bid under advisement. Staff confirmed right-of-way permit recommendations and approved event barricade requests elsewhere on the agenda.
