The commission approved the minutes from its Dec. 3 meeting by motion and roll call. The board then considered Resolution 24 ERC 43 to authorize an extension to the mowing and streetscape maintenance agreement with Cutting Edge and its contractor William Willman. Commissioners praised the vendor’s past performance and stable pricing; the resolution was moved, seconded and approved by roll call.
Later in the meeting, a staff member identified as Robert told the commission that the 2024 redevelopment district bonds settled at approximately $7,700,000 and that construction was ready to start. He said he would provide the detailed bond documents and interest-rate information to commissioners by follow-up rather than discuss specifics during the meeting.
The meeting closed after brief scheduling items; the commission confirmed its next meeting for Jan. 7, 2025, and adjourned with holiday greetings from the chair.
