At its Dec. 19 meeting, the Leesburg Planning Commission voted to postpone two related agenda items for the Venice at Lake Harris development to Feb. 20, 2025.

Chair opened the public hearing for SSCP24382 and SPUD24383 and said both applicants had asked for a continuance. Commissioner motioned to postpone and the commission approved the request by voice vote.

Planning staff noted the postponement so residents specifically present for the Venice items could leave early. The items will return to the planning commission on the Feb. 20 meeting agenda and, if recommended, will be forwarded to the City Commission for final action.
