A Futures graduating senior presented testimony about the school's impact.
On the Sacramento Academic and Vocational Academy (SAVA), GCC requested a material revision to add sixth grade so the middle-school configuration would be 6-8. Trustee Baker moved to approve the material revision, Trustee Bastian seconded, and the clerk recorded the motion as carried.
Members of the public spoke in favor of HLA and Futures during the public hearings. The board indicated support for the presentations and approved the SAVA material revision on the record; GCC asked that HLA and Futures be considered for five-year renewal terms based on outcomes presented in the packet.
