Planning commission hears town updates: stormwater review for Enclave, prospective appointee named, paving delayed

At the meeting start, a commissioner moved to approve the minutes of the Nov. 4 meeting; the motion was seconded and approved by voice vote.
Kevin (Speaker 2) updated the commission on routine town items. He said the preliminary stormwater-management submission for the Enclave development is under county review and that such reviews typically take at least a month. "Whenever they get that approval, we anticipate them... being back to us pretty pretty quickly after they get their approval there," Kevin said.
Kevin also introduced Danny Mikins as an applicant for a vacant planning commission seat and said the mayor and town council are expected to appoint him at the next mayor/council meeting "on the ninth." Kevin said the commission should expect to see him sitting at future meetings if the appointment is confirmed.
On infrastructure timing, commissioners asked whether planned paving would be completed before winter. Kevin and Joe said temperatures dropped quickly and that final paving is likely to be deferred until spring, although sidewalk work is finished in some places.
A commissioner asked about progress on a previously approved service-station site plan; Kevin said he had no updates since the site-plan approval.
Near the end of the meeting Speaker 1 moved to adjourn; the motion was seconded and approved by voice vote.
