Sandy council extends development moratorium for six months to allow wastewater planning to continue

Staff explained the current moratorium was set to expire the following day and recommended a straight six-month extension to provide time for ongoing wastewater planning, permit coordination and related work. No changes to the moratorium terms were proposed. Council closed the public hearing and adopted the resolution by voice vote.
Councilors also requested staff discuss ERU time limits and reversion rules before the next moratorium review so that conditionally held ERUs are assessed and released if developers are not advancing projects.
