During public commentary at the Nov. 25 Mundelein Village Board meeting, resident Chris Woodard (19 Edgemont) described a soft opening for the local Tool Library and outlined a fundraising calendar project.
Woodard said the calendar will sell for $20 and that sponsors underwrote each month. He said he and a partner previously helped raise $5,000 for an accessible playground and that a corporate match (BD Corporation) could double the Tool Library proceeds up to $5,000. He encouraged residents to watch the Tool Library’s Facebook posts for the opening and to support the fundraiser.
