City staff informed the Board of Aldermen that the liquor license application for El Tigliaso Cucina Y Cantina LLC, doing business as Riviera Maya Mexican Restaurants, was not represented at the meeting and remains incomplete.
Staff said the applicant requested a Sunday license and had added two owners to the list of principals but had not yet submitted a certificate of insurance required for the occupational license. "They will not receive a license until I have that in my end," a staff member said, describing the documentation requirement. Staff said everything else on the application was in order and that the item will be presented again at the next meeting once the insurance certificate is received.
The item was continued for a future meeting; no formal license was granted.
