The city also works with service organizations and offers payment plans for customers facing hardships.
Board members asked for historical comparisons and a business/residential breakdown; staff said last year’s total had been $12,209.46 and that the vast majority of the current amount is residential. The resolution was moved, seconded and approved on a voice vote with no recorded opposition.
The resolution takes effect as adopted and staff will proceed with the accounting adjustments described at the meeting.
