Board members acknowledged the concern and several said they would follow up. One board member asked staff (Brian or Jeremy) to investigate the parent’s claims and the forms Joe described. "When Brian gets back, I would like us to ask him to check into that more," a board member said during director comments, and the board discussed next steps to clarify whether the problem stems from curriculum alignment, assessment policy, or implementation.
The board did not adopt any policy change that night but directors indicated they want staff to review the materials Joe offered and report findings at a future meeting.
