OCC reports year-to-date intake and outreach; 406 cases opened through July

Joyce Hicks, director of the Office of Citizen Complaints, briefed the Commission on OCC activity and outreach during a brief report on Aug. 5.
"To date this year, the OCC has opened 406 cases and closed 392," Director Hicks said, and she told the Commission OCC staff had participated in National Night Out events and provided a presentation to academy cadets on OCC functions. Hicks said a statistical report would be provided at the Commission's Aug. 19 meeting.
Commissioners acknowledged OCC community outreach and thanked staff for the forthcoming data packet.
