The San Francisco Public Utilities Commission took the following formal actions in voice votes at its July 28, 2015 meeting:
- Approved minutes for 07/14/2015 (motion carried). - Passed the consent calendar, including: (A) Amendment No.1 to contract CS167A authorizing an increase of $1,000,000; (B) authorization to accept an additional award up to $123,042 from the Solano County Water Agency for a High‑Efficiency Toilet Incentive Program; (C) approval of the sewer system management plan required by the State Water Board’s statewide order for sanitary sewer systems. No items were pulled for separate discussion. - Approved assignment of an existing planning and engineering services contract (CS169 joint‑venture assignment) from the MWH/URS joint venture to MWH Americas, and authorized Modification No.1 to align terms following the assignment. Staff explained the change was necessary because AECOM’s acquisition of URS created a conflict with AECOM’s role as Sewer System Improvement Program manager; commissioners discussed due diligence and broader industry consolidation concerns before the vote (motion carried).
In closed session the Commission announced that items 15–17 (existing litigation matters) were settled and moved not to disclose the closed-session deliberations.
