Sergeant John Crudo of the Internal Affairs Division presented the third-quarter Firearm Discharge Review Board summary and accompanying memoranda, saying the board considered four completed OIS investigations (cases referenced as 11-07, 12-002, 12-005 and 12-006) and that each of those four "were found to be in policy." He described 11-07 as a Dec. 14, 2011 incident on Larkin Street in which officers pursuing a driver were fired upon and an officer returned fire; Crudo said the shooting was found to be in policy.
