The Police Commission voted to hold item 5 in closed session under San Francisco Administrative Code section 67.1.
A motion to move to closed session was made and seconded and the commission recorded affirmative votes. After the closed session the commission considered whether to disclose any or all discussion from the closed session. A motion 'not to disclose' was moved and seconded and the commission recorded a vote in favor of non‑disclosure (the chair announced the motion carried). The commission then moved to adjourn; the meeting adjourned in honor of retired officer Joseph Engler.
The transcript records the motions and that the votes carried; individual roll‑call vote names were not recorded in the public transcript captured here.
