SFPUC votes: minutes, consent items and budget authorizations approved
Summary
The commission approved the September 25 minutes, passed consent items 8A, 8B and 8D, amended and approved item 8C on outreach (see separate article), approved a $13,471,112 cost increase for four WSIP projects, and authorized a $250,000 MOU with North San Mateo County Sanitation District.
The San Francisco Public Utilities Commission voted on a package of routine and financial items during the meeting.
The commission approved the minutes from the Sept. 25 meeting after a motion and second. The consent calendar moved forward with items 8A, 8B and 8D approved. Item 8C (the proposed Davis and Associates outreach contract) was removed from the consent calendar for discussion and later approved as amended; see separate article on Clean Power SF outreach.
Item 10, revisions to the cost of four projects in the Water System Improvement Program, was approved and directs staff to seek Board of Supervisors Finance Committee approval to release $13,471,112 from the WSIP program management reserve.
Item 11 authorized the general manager to negotiate and execute a memorandum of understanding with the North San Mateo County Sanitation District for up to $250,000 over 18 months. Item 12 — nominations and election of officers — was continued to the next meeting when a full commission will be present.
All motions on these items carried by voice vote as recorded in the meeting minutes.
