Commission approves consent and regular business items; housing‑authority MOU continued

On the consent calendar the Commission approved selection of the joint venture G & E Engineering Systems and Geotechnical Consultants for a WESIP‑funded professional services agreement (CS101) for the Peninsula Pipeline seismic upgrade, and authorized the General Manager to negotiate the agreement.
In regular business, the Commission approved Modification M006 to contract DEAC03‑76SF‑1628 (a potable water‑service agreement with the U.S. Department of Energy). The Commission then approved an MOA (Item 10) with the Redevelopment Agency to remove and replace 31 streetlights with contemporary poles and LED fixtures (staff showed a proposed pole and a LUMIX Roadstar fixture). Commissioners asked staff to ensure agenda summaries and backup materials match and asked for images to be included for public clarity.
Item 11, a proposed memorandum of understanding with the San Francisco Housing Authority to provide condition assessment, operation and maintenance and emergency services for five housing developments for up to $150,000 (covering fiscal years in the packet), generated questions about whether PG&E or the PUC is responsible for specific internal distribution and emergency response at those properties. Staff explained that practice varies by property and that the PUC has in practice responded and billed the Housing Authority for emergency work; the Commission continued Item 11 to a future meeting so staff can provide more detail.
