The item covers actions to advance the DB 116 Tesla Treatment Facility and related Lawrence Livermore water‑quality improvements, including authorization to issue a notice to proceed for phase 2 design and to advertise a construction contract.
Speaker 7 moved to adopt the item; the motion was seconded, the commission voted aye and the motion carried. Staff said it would follow standard procurement steps and report back to the commission on contract advertisement and award as required.
The action carries CEQA findings as required by statute and includes a request that the Board of Supervisors adopt the same findings and authorize any Board‑level approvals required to enable construction and fabrication activities to proceed.
