After confirming there were no requests to remove items, a motion to approve the consent calendar was made, seconded and declared passed by the chair.
Item 9 drew one public comment questioning who would pay higher costs tied to recycled water used on a golf course; commissioners said the action matched existing policy on water diversification and approved the item. Items 10 (parking garage release) and 11 (an as-needed design contract) were also approved by the commission following brief staff explanation and the opportunity for public comment.
The commission then moved into closed session on several litigation and security items. When the board reconvened the chair reported there was no action on items 14–20, that items 21–23 were settled, and the commission voted "Not to disclose" the closed-session discussions.
