Commission staff said a bulletin on enforcement would be distributed to district stations the next day and that a letter would be sent giving patrol specials 72 hours' notice to comply. Commissioners warned that failure to comply would trigger disciplinary proceedings and could result in revocation of a patrol special’s authorization to patrol assigned beats.
Quote: "We're going to hereby order the patrol specialists to provide their client list immediately to the San Francisco Police Commission, so we know what they're charging and who they're charging for their services, and that's to be done immediately," Commissioner Thomas Mazuko said.
