The San Francisco Police Commission adjourned into closed session Wednesday at approximately 6:15 p.m. to discuss two disciplinary matters described on the agenda: a possible disposition on appeal of a chief suspension (case D03-348) and a possible action to accept or reject a stipulated disposition of disciplinary charges (case C03-147).
A motion to go into closed session was made and seconded and the commission recessed from the public meeting. The chair requested that the room be cleared except for those involved in the closed-session matters. The commission returned to open session at about 7:23 p.m.
Following the closed session, Commissioner Thomas Mazuko moved "for non disclosure," and a second was made. The motion was approved "without objection," and the commission ordered non-disclosure of the closed-session discussion. The meeting was adjourned at 7:24 p.m. The closed session was held pursuant to Government Code section 54957(b)(1), Administrative Code section 67.1(b), and Penal Code section 832.7, as listed on the agenda.
