Board approves OWL late‑night extensions to close gaps in Hunters View and Potrero Hill

Julie Kerschbaum described operational details, including improved span of service for the 44 and 48 lines during OWL hours and added resources for the longest OWL route to preserve critical connections.
Staff also presented a Title VI equity analysis; they reported no disproportionate adverse impacts and said the changes were designed to benefit low‑income communities and communities of color. Public commenters raised neighborhood noise and routing questions for certain residential blocks; staff said they intended to monitor operations and respond to neighborhood concerns.
The Board adopted the Title VI analysis and approved the service changes. Staff will monitor performance and rider experience and adjust where necessary.
