Colfax said an independent quality improvement expert is confirming milestone completion and that CMS surveyors are expected to visit on an irregular cadence and do not provide advance notice.
Commissioner questions focused on next steps in the recertification process and the timing and nature of expected surveys. Dr. Colfax and staff said they are preparing for surveyors and maintaining the quality‑improvement work needed to demonstrate compliance and readiness for recertification.
