The San Francisco Health Commission voted by voice to adopt revised medical staff bylaws and rules for Laguna Honda Hospital and Rehabilitation Center on Tuesday.
Maeva Carosi, CEO of Laguna Honda Hospital, presented the revisions and told commissioners the bylaws had been developed in consultation with the city attorney's office, Laguna Honda medical staff and with input aligning other hospital bylaws to the Laguna Honda revisions. The item had been recommended for full-commission approval by the Laguna Honda Joint Conference Committee following a May 14 review.
The commission adopted the recommended bylaws by voice vote with no public comment on the item. The chair thanked Carosi and the committee members for their work.
What's next: The bylaws take effect as the governing medical-staff rules for Laguna Honda unless further changes are subsequently proposed at the commission.
