The San Francisco Health Commission took the following formal actions during its Dec. 19 meeting:
- Approved the minutes of the Nov. 21 meeting. (Motion moved and seconded; approved.)
- Approved the consent calendar, which included multiple contracts related to EHR implementation: several roughly $9.9 million project‑management contracts (Deloitte Consulting and Nordic Consulting) and a $1.85 million Golden Gate Neuroimaging contract, among others. Staff said the finance and planning committee had reviewed and recommended the items.
- Adopted a resolution recognizing and honoring Mayor Edwin Lee for his long public service and support for the department; the resolution will be forwarded to the family.
- Adopted a resolution honoring Colleen Chawla (previously read at an informational meeting).
- Adopted an updated resolution in support of Vision Zero and automated speed enforcement and encouraged further outreach ahead of the Jan. 9 Transportation Committee hearing on AB 342 (Safe Streets Act of 2017).
- Moved into closed session and voted to withhold disclosure of the closed‑session discussions.
