Board approves minutes and committee assignments, votes to hold closed session and withholds disclosure
Summary
On Aug. 13 the SFHSS board approved the June 11 minutes, accepted committee assignments, voted to enter closed session for a member appeal and unanimously chose not to disclose or report on closed-session discussions.
The San Francisco Health Service System board took several formal actions during its Aug. 13 meeting.
- Approval of Minutes (Item 3): Commissioner Randy Scott moved to approve the 06/11/2020 meeting minutes; the motion was seconded and the board voted in the affirmative.
- Committee Assignments (Item 6): The board accepted proposed committee assignments for Finance & Budget and the Governance Committee. Commissioner Randy Scott moved to accept the recommendations, a second was recorded and the motion carried unanimously.
- Closed Session: The board voted to enter a closed session for a member appeal (Item 12). Commissioner Buchanan moved to hold closed session; Commissioner Randy Scott seconded and the motion carried unanimously. After closed session the board voted unanimously not to disclose any portion of the closed-session discussion (Item 13) and not to report actions taken in closed session (Item 14).
All recorded motions passed without opposition according to the meeting record. No public votes were taken on substantive policy changes during the session.
