The Historic Preservation Commission conducted two recorded formal actions during the Sept. 6 meeting:
• Adoption of minutes: The commission moved to adopt the draft minutes for Aug. 17, 2022; roll-call votes were recorded and the motion passed unanimously, 7–0.
• Recusal: Commissioner Wright requested recusal from Case 2021-012028EV (3251 Twentieth Avenue) because of his office’s involvement in the project. The commission moved, seconded and approved the recusal; the motion passed with recorded affirmative votes and the Commissioner was recused from participation on that case.
No approvals were requested or taken for the Stonestown preservation alternatives; staff said the item is advisory and the draft EIR will be prepared and brought back to the commission early next year.
