Historic Preservation Commission continues Sacred Heart Church landmark consideration to January 2018

The Historic Preservation Commission on Oct. 18 approved a continuance for the landmark designation matter concerning the former Sacred Heart Church (case 2015-005890DES). Staff reported the property owner requested extra time after a private house fire in Sonoma; Andrew Junius, representing the owners, asked the commission to continue the item so owners could address related matters.
On a motion and second the commission voted unanimously to continue the matter to Jan. 17, 2018. The continuance means the commission will revisit the item on the stated date and staff will accept public testimony on the matter at that future hearing.
