Staff concluded the proposal would be compatible with the Dogpatch district’s character and recommended approval with conditions requiring dimensioned window profiles on permit plans and a manufacturer's cut sheet for the proposed wood‑paneled roll‑up garage door.
Architect Mark Bugarelli represented the project sponsor and answered commissioner questions. Commissioners raised minor requests for more site plan context, and Pearlman asked for clearer drawings that show neighboring building elements. A motion to approve as conditioned was moved and passed unanimously 5 to 0.
Staff will require the specified permit details before final issuance of work permits.
