Tim Frey and survey staff answered commissioner questions about staffing and resources; staff confirmed they had submitted a budget request to the Mayor's Office for an additional full‑time headcount and a citywide survey manager. "We are still discussing" budget numbers and hope for finalization in August when the budget is adopted, Tim Frey said.
Commissioners discussed whether community proponents should prepare nomination documentation in some cases to conserve staff time; there was consensus that community‑sponsored reports can move items forward but that staff is available where community resources are not present.
