Louie Belmonte, chair of the board of Olof House and Olof Recovery Systems, told commissioners the classroom would improve the efficacy of the program’s 28‑day rehabilitation classes and that the nonprofit ‘‘receives no government funding of any kind.’’ He said the group raised $250,000 in a recent capital campaign to repair the main Queen Anne structure.
