Meeting actions: minutes approved and an absence excused

The commission approved the minutes from its July 19, 2024 regular meeting. Commissioner Dean Preston moved to approve the minutes; Commissioners Shanti Singh, Dean Preston, Isaac Severe and Chair Hillary Ronan voted "aye" and the motion passed (4 ayes). No public comment was received on the item.
Later in the meeting Chair Hillary Ronan moved and Commissioner Dean Preston seconded a motion to excuse Commissioner Hope Williams, who was absent due to illness. Commissioners Singh, Preston, Severe and Ronan voted "aye" and the motion passed unanimously.
No action was taken on the informational items (battery storage study, Green Bank update, Midtown Park Apartments study); those items were presented for information and discussion only.
