Pollock said the team anticipates roughly a six‑month community process, minimum qualifications for licensed engineers or architects for the PCA portion, an intent to issue the RFP the following week, and outreach through the City’s supplier portal and the local business enterprise list.
Public comment supported moving the item forward and emphasized the intersection of housing and other city priorities. Commissioner Preston moved to authorize release of the RFP; Commissioner Williams seconded. The clerk called the roll and recorded three ayes. The RFP authorization passed.
