During routine business the commission approved the minutes of the Oct. 16, 2020 meeting by voice/roll‑call vote after a motion from Chair Sandra Lee Feuer and a second from Vice Chair Cruz Pollock. Later the commission voted to set the next LAFCO meeting for Jan. 22, 2021, at 10:00 a.m., with the motion passing by roll call.
The commission also considered a resolution recognizing Chair Sandra Lee Feuer for nearly three consecutive years as LAFCO chair and for her broader public service on the Board of Supervisors. Brian Goble, the executive officer, read the resolution aloud. Several commissioners and public callers offered tributes; Commissioner Chris Pollock moved adoption and the commission approved the resolution by roll call.
The votes recorded in the meeting packet show the minutes approval carried with four ayes; the Jan. 22 scheduling motion and the resolution honoring the Chair each passed with recorded ayes from members present at the time.
