At its Feb. 26, 2016 meeting the Local Agency Formation Commission approved several procedural and administrative items by voice vote or unanimous consent.
The commission approved minutes from the Dec. 11/13 joint special meeting with the Public Safety and Neighborhood Services Committee after a motion by Commissioner Maher and a second from Commissioner Campos. No public comment was received on the minutes and the item was approved by the body.
For leadership, commissioners nominated and approved the chair and vice chair for February 2016. John Avalos was nominated to continue as chair and the commission approved the nomination; Commissioner Cruz was nominated and approved to continue as vice chair. The nominations were taken and approved without recorded objection.
The commission also approved an extension of the interagency agreement with Marin Clean Energy, made retroactive to Aug. 1, 2015. Jason Fried described the extension as a short term measure to continue certain work Marin had been doing on San Francisco's behalf and said no additional funding was requested. The motion to extend the agreement was moved by Commissioner Crews, seconded by Commissioner Campos, and approved without objection.
No roll‑call tallies were recorded in the transcript for these items; the meeting record shows the motions were carried by unanimous consent or by voice.
