Deputy Director Azevedo introduced the item, saying the applicant "is applying to amend their existing limited live performance permit to include outdoor entertainment at Mission Bowling Club, located at 3176 Seventeenth Street." Azevedo told commissioners the business has held the limited live performance permit since May 2014 and had no noise complaints on record; the applicant mailed notification letters to neighbors in both English and Spanish and received one letter of support from a neighboring business. Mission Station approved the amendment with no added conditions and recommended a revision to one existing permit condition.
A motion to approve the consent agenda was moved and seconded and the clerk conducted a roll-call vote. Commissioners recorded aye votes and the amendment was approved; the chair told the applicant, "Congratulations. Your amendment's been approved," and asked them to follow up with deputy director staff for next steps.
The staff memo cites Municipal Police Code 10.60.16 as the local regulation governing outdoor sound, which staff said the applicant understands and will be required to comply with.
