Commission OKs Emporium SF permit for arcade and live venue at Harding Theatre

Connor Johnston, chief of staff to Board President London Breed, expressed district-level support and cited recent legislative work to protect nightlife venues and enable arcades. Staff reported letters of support and Northern Station approval subject to the Good Neighbor Policy and a security plan. Commissioners moved to approve the permit with the stated conditions; the motion passed unanimously.
The commission required Emporium to submit a security plan and adhere to the Entertainment Commission’s Good Neighbor Policy as standard conditions. Staff will follow up on compliance during inspections and as events begin.
