San Francisco — The Entertainment Commission granted a permit to Hotel Nikko for a place-of-entertainment and extended hours for a Feinstein's-style cabaret after management presented completed inspections, soundproofing measures and plans for professional security.
Hotel representatives highlighted community outreach and charitable programs; Tenderloin and Mission Station officers voiced support. Karen Flood of the Union Square BID and other business groups told the commission the venue will add vibrancy and enhanced security to the district. "We are in support of the Hotel Nikko renewing their permit and extending their hours," Flood said.
Commissioners voted unanimously to approve the permit and extended-hours conditions after hearing from police and neighborhood business groups.
