Entertainment Commission approves Antologia live performances and Bluefin’s electronic darts; police flag karaoke and permit compliance issues

San Francisco’s Entertainment Commission approved two permit requests on April 1: a limited live-performance permit for Antologia at 515 Broadway and mechanical-amusement-device approval (electronic darts) for Bluefin Sushi at 1814 Clement.

Antologia owner Ram Dehana described plans for Latin American music and dance offerings intended to diversify Broadway’s entertainment mix. The applicant presented letters of support from neighborhood organizations and said he had done outreach; SFPD Central Station staff said they had no additional conditions beyond the Good Neighbor Policy. After public comment in support, the commission approved the limited live-performance permit under the Good Neighbor Policy.

Bluefin’s owner sought approval for electronic dart machines. Richmond Station permit officer Tobias Moore recommended approval of the dart devices but warned that a karaoke room on the premises had been used without a place-of-entertainment permit. Moore said the units themselves were unlikely to cause neighborhood impacts but urged the owner to complete the pending place-of-entertainment process, address soundproofing for the karaoke room and ensure future compliance.

Both approvals were accompanied by standard Good Neighbor Policy conditions; the commission congratulated the applicants and reminded them that full compliance with ABC, building and fire requirements remains necessary.
