The Entertainment Commission approved a place-of-entertainment permit for the Tunnel Top Bar near the Sutter–Stockton garage after police recommended approval and the owner confirmed compliance steps.
Owner Ludovic Resinet told the commission he has operated the venue for 13 years and has taken steps to meet regulatory requirements; he said video cameras are already installed and staff will complete ABC/security training. The applicant indicated pending approvals from building, electrical, health and fire departments.
Officer Degnan, standing in for Officer Mathias at Central Station, recommended approval and confirmed the applicant agreed to the SFPD conditions. There was no public comment.
The commission voted to approve the permit with the police conditions on a recorded vote.
