Commission approves amended pool-hall permit after zoning determination

With no police representative present because officers were assigned to a presidential visit, commissioners moved to approve and recorded Aye votes on the roll call.
Staff said the earlier police recommendation for denial applied to the original second-floor application; staff recommended granting the amended first-floor permit consistent with the zoning letter, and the motion passed on a roll-call vote.
