Pizzelle de North Beach’s extended-hours permit was approved with modified police conditions requiring retention of exterior camera footage for 30 days; the commission removed 'upon request' language and scheduled a standalone review of surveillance policy with the city attorney.
Slovenian Hall’s entertainment permit was approved with multiple added conditions (manager on duty with posted phone contact, minimum security staffing, posted events, and a sound technician). The commission attached its standard good-neighbor policy to the permit.
20 First Amendment Brewery (563 Second Street) received approval for a pilot loudspeaker permit for an outdoor beer-garden music date on June 15; the police asked staff to approve subsequent proposed dates administratively if the pilot succeeds and if police conditions (manager on duty, phone contact and neighborhood notice) are met.
Several other applications (Nazario/279 Columbus; Happy Donuts 2600 Bayshore) were continued pending planning or police-station review.
Commissioners recorded votes for each approval on the record and directed staff to monitor compliance and return to the commission if conditions are not met.
