Supervisor Scott Wiener has asked the Board of Supervisors for an economic impact study of nightlife and entertainment in San Francisco, the Entertainment Commission was told at its Feb. 8 meeting. The study will count venues, jobs and economic value and will include outdoor events; staff expects a subsequent hearing before the Land Use and Economic Development Committee when the report is finished.
