Staff said the proposed multiuse space will host live music, DJs and a community room for nonprofit use and artist lockers; planning found the uses appropriate for the PDR zoning. Mission Station recommended approval with 16 record conditions. Applicants acknowledged significant buildout remains and described outreach to nearby neighbors and letters of support.
Commissioners accepted friendly amendments clarifying that security uniforms should include a venue logo (or similar marking), that the door host be part of the security complement rather than a separate ticket taker, and that video recordings be retained for 15 days with a six‑month copy preserved if an incident report is filed. The motion to approve with the amended conditions passed on roll call.
