Commission approves minutes and votes to enter closed session to evaluate director
Summary
At the Aug. 26 meeting the San Francisco Commission on the Environment approved the consent minutes for June 24 and voted unanimously to enter closed session for the executive director’s performance evaluation.
The San Francisco Commission on the Environment approved the consent calendar item to adopt draft minutes from the June 24, 2024 meeting after a motion by Commissioner Bermejo and a second from Commissioner Tompkins; no members of the public spoke on the consent item.
Later in the meeting the commission considered item 11, the performance evaluation of Executive Director Tyrone Joo. After opening public comment (no speakers), the commission moved to vote on whether to adjourn into closed session to evaluate the director’s performance. Commissioner Ahn moved to go into closed session, Vice President Sullivan seconded, and a roll call vote was taken. The chair announced the motion passed and the commission entered closed session to conduct the personnel evaluation.
