Lee reelected chair; Bush elected vice chair; minutes and remote‑meeting resolution pass unanimously

The San Francisco Ethics Commission on Feb. 11 re‑elected Yvonne Lee to serve a second one‑year term as Chair and elected Commissioner Larry Bush as Vice Chair, both by unanimous roll call votes. Chair Lee’s new term takes effect March 1.
Earlier in the meeting the Commission approved draft minutes for the January 14 and January 21 meetings after the consent calendar was called and public comment closed; both motions passed on unanimous roll call votes (5–0). The Commission also approved a recurring resolution to continue holding remote meetings in light of the public‑health emergency; that motion passed unanimously as well.
Chair Lee opened the meeting by reminding callers of remote‑meeting procedures and thanking members of the public for their participation. During the consent calendar, Deputy City Attorney Shen explained the process for suggesting edits to minutes when draft minutes are called on the agenda.
What happens next: Commission leadership will begin their terms on March 1. Staff will finalize adopted minutes and maintain the continuation resolution until circumstances allow a different meeting arrangement.
