Rennie elected chair and Andrews elected vice chair; minutes adopted

Commissioner Keane nominated Commissioner Rennie for chair; a motion to elect Rennie was moved and seconded and the Commission voted 5–0 to elect Rennie as chair. Commissioner Keane then nominated Commissioner Andrews for vice chair; that motion was seconded and passed by voice vote. The Commission also moved to adopt the minutes after correcting a typo and the minutes were approved by voice vote.
In his Executive Director’s Report, Mr. St. Croix said staff had begun process steps to encumber funds and engage a translator for the Commission’s Language Access work and that staff expects to have translation work completed within a calendar year. Commissioners asked for timelines and for better tracking of enforcement and pending complaints.
The meeting adjourned after public comment and routine closing actions.
